Brookhill Ranch

Brookhill Ranch Christian Summer Camp was established in 1964 with the purpose of reaching out to every young person with unconditional love, helping each one to realize his or her own intrinsic worth.  Brookhill Ranch ministers to these young people through camps and retreats that are not only fun and exciting but also character-building and God-honoring.

Services Offered:

  • Faith-based summer camps for children and teens
  • Camp activities including archery, swimming, boating, riflery, go-carts, fishing, gymnastics, team sports, cheerleading, tennis, crafts, campfires, drama, nature adventures, water rides, and the Brookhill Ranch specialty game—Hodge Podge
  • Devotionals, worship services, and motivational speaking
  • Turkey Day Retreat (held annually on Thanksgiving weekend) to teach the art of leadership to teenage Brookhill students 

Brookhill Ranch camps are only open to students between 3rd and 9th grade.  To attend the Turkey Day Retreat, students must attend Brookhill or High Point.

The Caring Place

The Caring Place is an interfaith ministry whose mission is to support participants and their families with the highest quality respite care program, as they deal with the effects of aging and various forms of dementia.

Services Offered:

  • Adult daycare focusing on respect, appreciation, and physical, mental, social, and emotional stimulation
  • Art therapy through creative acts such as quilting, watercolors, mosaics, and crafts
  • Board games
  • Safe sports activities
  • Dance and music
  • Entertainment from community performers, such as the Master Gardeners and Emblem Club Dancers
  • Pet visits
  • Beautiful outdoor patio area
  • Hot lunches and other snacks served daily
  • Support groups for family members of those with dementia or Alzheimer’s; these groups meet from 2:00-3:30 p.m. on the second Monday of each month.  They are open to the community, and daycare is provided during the meeting for those with dementia/Alzheimer’s.

CASA for Children

The Arkansas State CASA Association promotes and supports local programs providing qualified volunteer advocates to help abused and neglected children in juvenile dependency-neglect proceedings reach safe, permanent homes.  Trained, court-appointed volunteers represent the best interest of an abused or neglected child for whom a placement is being determined by the juvenile court.  A CASA volunteer acts as a fact finder of the child’s best interest, providing a judge with valuable information on the child to help the court make a sound decision about the child’s future.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, twelve-step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain, or addiction of any kind.  It is a safe place to find community and freedom from life-controlling issues.

Clean Heart Ministries

Clean Heart Ministries is a ministry of healing and restoration dealing with the deep issues of the heart. The goal of the ministry is to see people recognize the mindsets and attitudes of the heart that are blocking their maturity in Christ, preventing them from being all that God has meant for them to be, and keeping them from accomplishing God’s divine purpose for their lives.

This purpose is accomplished through seminars where CHM staff teach the biblical perspective of emotional healing and facilitate prayer ministry. CHM also helps mentor those who have experienced many types of dysfunction and traumas, such as low self-esteem, rejection, and abuse.

Hillcrest Children’s Home

Since 1944 Hillcrest Children’s Home has been providing Christian residential child care for homeless, abused, abandoned, neglected, orphaned, or otherwise maltreated children and youth. 

Services Offered:

  • Family-style residential programs where children are cared for by loving house parents
  • More intensive residential programs to care for children with severe physical, emotional, mental, or social issues
  • Respite care for foster children to ease the burden on foster parents

Solomon’s Porch Ministries 

Solomon’s Porch Ministries is a Christian outreach ministry dedicated to making a difference for God in Hot Springs through programs for addiction recovery, discipleship, feeding the needy, and worship services.

Services Offered:

  • Four houses throughout Hot Springs to provide residential treatment for men and women trying to break free from addictions
  • Food pantry and feeding programs on Saturday mornings
  • Daily discipleship classes and work details for men in the program

Teen Challenge of Arkansas

Teen Challenge is a faith-based Christian growth program, existing to educate men 18 and older with life-controlling problems.  We reach these men through educational programs that are biblically sound and highly structured.

Services Offered:

  • An intensive 15-month rehabilitation program to help young men escape from addictions and life-controlling problems (5 months at the Hot Springs campus, 10 months at the campus in Cape Girardeau, Missouri)
  • Daily Work Detail that allows men to not only develop a healthy work ethic but also minister to the community
  • Devotionals and worship services
  • Life skills training, discipleship, and other success-oriented classes
