Dixie Jackson Arkansas Missions Offering and Week of Prayer
The Dixie Jackson Arkansas Missions Offering and Week of Prayer each
September is intended to highlight and encourage Gospel work that
Arkansas Baptists are faithfully supporting in our state and beyond.
Arkansas Baptist churches are the partners, prayer warriors, and
volunteers behind new church works, community missions like the Acts
1:8 One Day Mission Trip, collegiate ministries, and disaster relief.
Join us in prayer and giving the week of September 12-19.

Couple’s Retreat
Each year, for one night and one day, Gospel Light puts on a first-class
retreat with gospel-centered teaching on marriage. It is hosted in Little Rock
and is always a huge help in the revitalization of our church’s marriages!
This year’s guest speakers will be Greg and Janet Addison. It will all begin
Friday, September 24, at 6 p.m., and go through Saturday, September 25,
at 12:30 p.m. The cost is $67.50 for the retreat and hotel or $20 for the
retreat only. We will meet at the Arkansas Baptist State Convention
located at 10 Remington Dr., Little Rock, AR 72204. Register online
or on the church center app.

Mini Lights Ministry
Thank you so much for all the recent donations to Mini Lights!

Acts 1:8 One Day Missions Trip
One Day Acts 1:8 Missions Experience provides an annual opportunity
for Arkansas Baptists to impact lostness in a specific area of our state.
Arkansas Baptists from across the state spend five hours on the first
Saturday in October serving in a variety of ministries. Everyone is asked
to bring a donation of nonperishable food items. The day will start
at 7:30 a.m. at Russellville High (Cyclone Stadium, 2203 S. Knoxville Ave.,
Russellville, AR 72802), and everyone will head home at 4:30 p.m.
COST: $10 per participant (adults & minors 8 -17, children 7 & younger may
serve w/parent at no cost). This fee helps provide materials for ministry
sites as well as lunch for all participants. To register, sign up at one
of the welcome desks. Registration deadline is September 14.

Love Day – A Gethsemane House Outreach
The Gethsemane House will be having Love Day on Saturday, September 25,
from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Gospel Light gym. This outreach will be
reaching the homeless and showing them Christ’s love. Volunteers and
donations are needed! The biggest need for Love Day right now is backpacks.
Donations can be dropped off at the church offices during the week or
at the welcome desk on Sundays.
