Compassion for Children

C4C ministers to at-risk, under-served children in the Hot Springs area.

Ages: 1st – 5th Grade

Our vision is for every young person to have the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel, that they are afforded resources for spiritual growth, and that they discover transformational relationships that help them become self-initiating and reproducing disciple-makers in society.  We do this one child at a time by serving at-risk youth, under-served children, and urban communities through inner-city outreach, and gospel-based discipleship.

Transportation Ministry

The Transportation Ministry was created to provide a means of transportation for all who are in need to come to worship in God’s House. We accomplish this by providing a safe and convenient way for children, who have no other way, to attend our church services.

We provide free door-to-door transportation for children unable to get to church on their own, which means that a bus or van comes directly to their home. A church volunteer walks to the door and then escorts the rider(s) to the vehicle. On the ride to church, there is an exciting time of singing, contests, games, and Bible lessons.

The Transportation Ministry currently picks up riders to attend the 10:30 am Sunday Worship service and the 7:00 pm Wednesday Teen Worship and small group time.

Worship / Large Group Timephoto2-Optimized

All 1st—5th graders meet together in a large group for a time of worship and scripture study and then experience relationship-building in a small group setting. Large group time is where we teach scriptural truths in a kid-friendly way through skits, praise, and worship.  From Bible study to music to missions to special events and summer programs, this is an amazing place to start a relationship with Christ and grow strong in the faith. It is our desire to provide each child with a time that is biblically relevant to their lives and fun at the same time.

Small Group Time

photo-OptimizedAs we disciple children using small groups we want them to come to know the God of the Bible through Bible study, prayer, worship and serving our community and world. We want to raise up a generation of kids who become passionate about Him and the Word, become fully devoted followers of Christ, and carry on the discipleship process as teens and adults spreading a passion for Christ to all people. We believe the most important spiritual leaders in a child’s life are the parents, and when parents don’t model a lifestyle of worship and Bible study, then its up to us as disciple-makers to step in the gap.photo2-Optimized-Optimized We use age appropriate levels of various curriculum’s designed to allow children an opportunity to learn, at their age appropriate level, the truths from God’s word. This enables them to see God as the hero of every story, with a God-centered worldview and a faith that will hold them when the days of testing come. We want them to love the Lord their God with all their heart, and to delight in Him forever.
