SPECIAL LETTER FROM SENIOR PASTOR ERIC
I have what I believe to be some exciting news. We had a good number of people coming to our Victory banquet on Friday night but I was concerned that many of our people could not attend to hear the challenging message from our guest speaker and friend, Pastor Ken Carney. I know every weekend is a busy weekend for our faith family but this weekend seemed to be especially busy with two weddings and other activities.
So I stepped out by faith and did something I was not sure would work out. I called Pastor Carney and asked him if instead of coming on Friday night he would be willing to come on Sunday and speak in our morning and evening worship services. As you know, Pastor Carney is the senior pastor at the first Nazarene church here in town. I knew it was a long-shot. But to my surprise,(O me of little faith) he told me that every fifth Sunday of the month he does not speak at his church. And this happens to be one of 4 of the Months that have a fifth Sunday. Hallelujah! To God be the glory!
With that said, we are not having our victory banquet this Friday night, but instead, we are having our Victory Offering and special services on Sunday with Pastor Ken Carney as a special speaker. Can you believe it! Wow! God is good!
If you purchased or reserved a ticket, we are going to be able to provide a very nice boxed lunch for you prepared fresh From San Francisco bread Company and ready for your pick up immediately following the Sunday services. We will also be able to give you credit for the ticket you purchased on your giving statement. So I’ll see you Sunday and thank you for your love and support of our faith family.
I love you,
