Dale Briley Family
Dale and Lora Briley have been serving in Costa Rica, Central America since August 1993. Throughout this time, they and their family have worked in partnerships with fellow missionaries and national workers in and around the capitol city of San José, including the districts of San Rafael Abajo, Tibás, San Francisco de Dos Rios, Los Hatillos and Desamparados. Their ministry involves evangelism and disciple-making, with the idea of strengthening lives, relationships, and homes, that results in the planting of more churches. They also assist Baptist missionaries who are attending Spanish language classes in Costa Rica before moving on to the field of their calling.
Chantha Chhim Family
Chantha and Susan’s primary objective is to strategically establish church plants all throughout Singapore. In 2013, they planted the Crosslight Baptist Church in the country of Singapore Because the country of Singapore is so strategically located to nearby Southeast Asian countries and also for its international influence, reaching other Southeast Asian countries is very favorable. Chantha currently serves as the senior pastor of Crosslight Baptist Church – Singapore. He also serves as the Asia coordinator for Medical Missions Outreach. Through this ministry, Chantha is able to coordinate teams of people to assist national pastors and missionaries in supplying medical care while giving soul winners the opportunity to share the Gospel during the Medical Missions Outreach clinic events hosted in the country.
Mike Coupe Family
Mike and Glenda have served together in Costa Rica, Belize, the Dominican Republic and Haiti. In February 2010 God opened a door for them to use aviation as a vehicle to provide disaster relief aid to missionaries in Haiti who suffered a tragic earthquake. After working seven months with both American and national pastors God opened an effectual door for them to ministry in the West Indies. They are currently serving on the island of Dominica and will use aviation as a vehicle to assist the national pastors and ministries already planted. God has given them a vision that will include disciple-making and church planting, coupled with disaster and humanitarian relief aid.
Flint Gutweiler Family
The Gutweiler’s, along with their five children, Katlyn, Gabriel, Seth, Ty, and Kayleigh are ministering to the churches in America by assisting in their construction and renovation projects. Flint has been in the construction business for over 24 years and actively involved in the full time Christian service aspect of assisting churches for the last 12 years. The Gutweiler’s travel to help churches in their building programs beginning with obtaining the permits, assisting with the labor and helping them save money on their projects whether it be remodeling, repairing, or from ground up.
Wes Hutchens Family
Wes and Susan Hutchens are currently serving the Lord in the city of Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. They have been in Canada since August of 2004, when they went to North Vancouver, BC, and started Lions Gate Baptist Church. In November of 2010 they turned that work over to another pastor and took the position as missionary pastor of People’s Baptist Church in Kelowna, BC. Kelowna is a city of over 100,000 people with very few gospel preaching churches.
Elsen Portugal Family
Elsen and Michelle have served as missionaries for over 20 years, first in Germany as church planters, and more recently doing short-term work in Costa Rica and Brazil. They have recently become associated with Arts in Mission, which is a very relevant approach which has often been left out of Christian outreach. Elsen attended the Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics, to prepare for coming opportunities to engage different people groups in Brazil with the truth of God’s Word. They will initially be engaged in the music ministry of a Brazilian church, Michelle will learn Portuguese, and during which time, they will be looking for God to open doors of opportunity for work among indigenous peoples. Their desire is also to stir up God’s people to engage people with the gospel through their abilities and spiritual gifts, and thus mobilize a yet greater team of disciple-makers to reach the unreached.
Stewart Schepers Family
Stewart, Donna and their family are church planting missionaries in the Dominican Republic. They have been serving in Santo Domingo since February 2008. Their desire is to reproduce churches throughout the country through Iglesia Bautista El Faro (IBEF) their principal work in Santo Domingo. IBEF has numerous ministries to help accomplish this goal, a few of which are a deaf ministry, a large youth ministry, a small bible institute to train future laborers in the harvest for “the perfecting of the saints, … the work of the ministry, … the edifying of the body of Christ” (Eph. 4:12)!
